PASSOVER SEDER PLATESLaura Cowan Home > Passover Seder Plates A range of beautiful contemporary Seder plates for the Pesach or Passover Seder table. Choose from the Dune collection or the Moon Seder plates. To buy a seder plate, click on the "buy now" button. NEW! DUNE SEDER PLATE - SHINY STEEL This eye-catching design was inspired by the gentle curves of the Sinai desert dunes – reminding us of the exile from Egypt through Sinai. Each dish is hand curved into gentle waves and firmly fixed to an anodized aluminum base. Available in two versions – all shiny stainless steel, or mixed metals. An additional small dish is added to each set – this attaches to the “Beitsah” tray by a hidden magnet and subtly keeps the egg in position. Laura signs each one.

MOON SEDER PLATE
Inspired by the craters on the moon’s surface, Laura designed the Moon Seder plates, combining geometric with organic, by softening the square shape of the plate with the round indentations. By the nature of the creative process, the shape is slightly different each time and no two pieces are identical. The minimalist Moon Seder plate design is made from polished aluminum. The six words representing the symbols - Shank bone, Egg, the Bitter Herbs, Charoset, Hazeret and Karpas are engraved in Hebrew.
4 LAYER SILVER WAVE SEDER PLATE
The Silver Wave Seder Plate beholds an elegant, classic yet modern design. Taking almost a year to complete, it incorporates four unique layers. The top layer consists of a silver platter and 6 silver dishes with three layers underneath for the three Seder matzos. Three matzot are needed so that when we break the middle matzah, we are still left with two whole ones to pronounce the "Hamotzi". These layers represent the three components of the Jewish nation: Cohen, Levy and Israel. The flowing effect of the six dishes on the silver layer gives the illusion of them floating just above the surface.
A truly stunning piece of Judaica which can only serve to elevate the soul and bring down the sparks of light at such an important Jewish festival.
