Rainbow Rocket Menorah
Laura's modern Rainbow Rocket Menorah is made of 8 separate candlesticks and one taller candlestick for the Shamash. Made from highly polished stainless steel and anodized aluminum, it holds regular size Shabbat candles and as each piece is free standing it can be displayed in a number of ways.

LIGHTING THE MENORAH

One candle is added to the menorah each night. The first night, only the Shammus (the one at a different height) is lit and one Chanukkah candle. On the eighth night, all of the candles are lit. Candles are added to the menorah and lit from right to left (like Hebrew writing). The shammus candle is lit first and is used to light the other Chanukkah candles. While holding the Shammus candle, the Hannukah blessings are recited or sung.
