KIDDUSH CUPS
Laura Cowan Home > Kiddush Cups
Making Kiddush consists of two blessings, one to bless the wine and then another praising the Shabbat (Sabbath day of rest) itself.
Wine is a symbol of joy in Judaism, and effort should
be made to obtain wine for these blessings. Traditionally, at least 3.3 ounces of wine should be poured into the kiddush cup, and after the blessing, the cup is passed around the Jewish family members who each sip the wine. To buy a Kiddush Cup, click on the "buy now" button.

SHAMAYIM VARETZ KIDDUSH CUP
These elegant, cone shaped Kiddush Cups are made from 2 contrasting materials, reflecting the opposites that together make a whole - heaven and earth, darkness and light/day and night. The highly polished silver wine cup contrasts with the matt anodized aluminum base of the Kiddush cup.
The color ranges come in either:
Nature - Green
Sky - Light blue
Ocean - Dark Blue
or
Sun and Stars - Gold
Man - Pink
Creatures - Red
Materials: Anodized Aluminum and Silver
Height 14cm / 5.5 inches
The Red version makes a perfect Miriam’s Cup for the Passover Seder, whose purpose is to honor the role of Miriam the Prophetess in the Exodus and to highlight the contributions of women to Jewish culture, past and present.
