ROSH HASHANAH Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year. It is the first of the High Holidays or "Days of Awe", celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is observed on the first two days of Tishrei, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar. It is described in the Torah as a day of "Zikhron Trua" (remembrance of the blowing of the horn).

MODERN APPLE AND HONEY PLATE DESIGNED BY LAURA COWANLaura Cowan Home > Spiral Spoon Apple and Honey Plate SPIRAL SPOON APPLE AND HONEY PLATE - REDLaura has created an Apple and Honey plate that is like no other. Sculptural in appearance, this design features a spiral spoon that is hand rounded. No two are identical, just as no two days of the year are the same. The spiral spoon represents new beginnings and continuation. This design combines Laura’s signature themes of encircling discs with an innovative and practical spiral spoon that is attached by a magnet. After dipping the spoon in the honey it is placed back on the magnetic rod and any excess honey cleverly drips back into the Pyrex glass bowl.
